Jim Fyffe,
our Club's Sgt-At-Arms recently organized a Speech-A-Thon to include
THREE Clubs in Three DIVISIONS! Several members met at the
SAIC building in the Engineering Park near UCF to hear eight
fantastic speeches and evaluation. Thank you Jim for stepping
out and becoming a great ambassador for our club! Jim also hosted the Castaways first-ever Christmas Party at his house. Libations were poured and home made treats were enjoyed by all as conversation and good cheer was enjoyed through the night. Thank you Jim and Sally for being such delightful hosts! |
Scott Hoehn, our
Club's VP Membership has earned Toastmasters International's highest
award, the Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM) award... for the SECOND
time! Earning this honor requires the completion of over 40
speeches, sponsoring or mentoring a new club and serving the
District as an officer. |
