Area 49

Area 49's International Speech and Table Topic Contest was held Saturday, February 16, 2008 at the Renaissance at Lake Ivanhoe. 

All the clubs in Area 49 are doing an unbelievable job and all of you will be President's Distinguished Clubs!!!!  An added bonus will be when one of our contestants goes on to compete for the World Champion of Speaking!!!  LET's DO IT.  Thanks  - Bruce Gould, Area 49 Governor

Downtown Toastmasters Club 6084 is energetic and always growing.  What a pleasure it was to visit this dynamic Club. I encourage you all to  venture out of your own Club once in a while and get to meet the exciting members in Area 49!

 


Hello Club Officers of Area 49!  I want to thank all of you for stepping forward and serving your club as officers for the next six months or year term.  Leadership is an important cornerstone of any Toastmaster experience and I commend you for your willingness to serve. 

I look forward to working with all of you in the coming months and ask that you use me as your first resource in helping your club become the best club it can be.  Part of that is fulfilling the goals laid out by Toastmasters International leading your club to becoming a Selected Distinguished and a President's Distinguished Club.
