Area 25 - Central Florida Facilitators #9958 "Graduates!!!"

I'm not sure if "Pomp & Circumstance" was playing in the background, but there certainly was a lot of celebration on June 27th!  Central Florida Communicators held their 4th year anniversary Installation & Awards Celebration with a room loaded with members and guests.

Member Gloria Esteban (adorned with cap and gown) was the Master of Ceremonies for the evening.  She kept a cool head (must have been the cap) in a full room of dignitaries as well.  Among those present were District 47 Governor Loretta Sandy, DTM, Past District 47 Governor Karl Righter, DTM, Incoming Division C Governor, Scott Hoehn, ACG, Area 25 Governor, Jennifer Cobb,  Area 33 Governor Paula Hickman, Incoming Area 16 Governor Toni Gitles and more.  The food was great, the presentation speeches were outstanding and the overall feeling was inspirational!  The Facilitators are definitely a Club to watch, listen and learn from.  Congratulations!

"OUTSTANDING PARTICIPATION" awards were given to Toni Gitles, Ed Yankowich, Gail Hill Smith, Amy Haiken, and Jim Ellis.  These members showed up, they participated and they excelled.  What more can you ask from your members?  What more can you ask of yourself?  Congratulations and thank you for setting a great example!

Keynote speaker, District Governor Loretta Sandy gave a powerful message to all in attendance.

"How does a young, four year old Club grow to FORTY members?  Enthusiasm, participation and recognition are key elements in this Club!"

"Tonight's the Night!" has been Outgoing President and Incoming Area 16 Governor, Toni Gitles' ongoing theme.  Well this particular evening really WAS the night for Toni as she received well-deserved praise and recognition for a year of hard work.  Not only was she recognized by her Club Members, but she received recognition from District 47 Governor, Loretta Sandy, DTM.

Member Susan Morgan presented the Jessica Schlenk "Spirit Award" to Gail Hill Smith for all of Gail's efforts throughout the year.  Other awards presented to members were "Most Illustrious Impromptu Speaker", "Outstanding Participation", "Most Celebrated Speaker", "Tim Chastain Award", "Jeanine Stroud Service Award", and "Outstanding Facilitator".  This Club truly knows how to show appreciation for member's efforts.

Dedicated leaders, applying tried and true techniques from Toastmasters training can only mean a winning combination.  Club Officers were officially installed by Incoming Division C Governor, Scott Hoehn.  "Do you fully accept the responsibilities of your office?" Governor Hoehn asked each officer.  "I do!" was the enthusiastic reply from all.  Year number Five will truly be one to watch with this Club!
