Speech & Table Topics Contest at The Conquerors - February 26, 2007 |

The Founders Club Award is no stranger to the
Club Banner of The Orlando Conquerors, but it is always welcome.
District 47 Governor Loretta Sandy, DTM
(right), awards the well-deserved ribbon to the Club's
Vice President of Education, Mary Fickert.
This latest addition commemorates the efforts of the Conquerors in
founding Crummer @
Rollins Toastmasters Club of Winter Park, Florida.

The Conquerors once again held an outstanding International Speech and
Table Topics Contest, with a full house of attendees. "If only..."
was the topic that challenged Table Topics contestants. After six
contestants spoke and the dust finally settled, the winners were chosen.

(right) were among four participants in the International Speech
contest.
Brian treated the audience to a heated tongue lashing (thanks to "Atomic
Fireball" candy). Then Alan tugged on the heartstrings and
conquered a fear all in the same speech.
No wonder they're called
